Terms and Conditions
COURSE REGISTRATION
Students may register for courses via training course listings on the TEKnowLogical website or by phone at 1-800-860-5802.
FEES
The registration fees listed for each course cover course tuition and course materials.
All other fees, including any parking fees, are not included. (For TEKnowLogical courses held at the Reston Executive Center, parking is free).
ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT
TEKnowLogical accepts payment via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cisco Learning Credits, purchase order and corporate check.
Students outside the United States must pay by credit card. Credit card payments will be converted to U.S. currency by the credit card provider.
All payments for training courses must be received at least five business days before the start date of class, or upon registration, whichever is later. Corporate checks must be received before the start of class.
For all training courses, students who are unable to provide payment upon registration will be given a tentative seat reservation but may risk losing their place in the class at the discretion of TEKnowLogical.
SCHEDULE
The normal class day begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. each day. Exceptions: some courses may have longer days (e.g.: Bootcamps). Any class schedule with longer hours will be communicated to each registered student via email.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
Any student who is underway in a course and not satisfied may withdraw from the course and request a refund of the course fees paid. Some restrictions apply:
- The request must be in writing and identify the specific elements of the course the student deems unsatisfactory.
- The withdrawal must be requested within the first 1/3 of that course (i.e. before the end of the first day of a three-day course).
- All course materials must remain with the instructor at the time of withdrawal.
- The student must be eligible for a refund per the cancellation and reschedule policies below.
GUARANTEED TO RUN COURSES
No course marked on TEKnowLogical’s online schedule as “Guaranteed to Run” will be cancelled if one student or more is enrolled in the class.
TEKnowLogical reserves the right to remove a session from the “Guaranteed To Run” list prior to 30 days from the course start date as long as no student is currently enrolled.
SCHEDULE CHANGES
TEKnowLogical reserves the right to change the schedule of any class if prevented from delivering the class by causes beyond our control such as, but not limited to: labor disputes, civil commotion, war, governmental regulations or controls, casualty, inability to obtain materials or services or Acts of God. If TEKnowLogical is forced to change the schedule, we will reschedule the class to run within a reasonable period of time.
CANCELLATION POLICY
TEKnowLogical and its partners reserve the right to cancel any course not marked as “Guaranteed to Run” for any reason more than 14 days before the start of the class. In this case, TEKnowLogical will return all registration fees, but will not be liable for any other fees the student has incurred (such as flight cancellation fees, etc.)
All requests from a student to change or cancel a training class registration must be in writing, either via email to support@teknowlogical.com or via fax to 703-935-2382.
If a cancellation request is received by TEKnowLogical prior to 30 days before the start of a class, students will receive a full refund. If requests are received with less than 30 days notice prior to the start of a class, students are not eligible for refunds, but may reschedule for a different class or date (see Rescheduling).
WITHDRAWALS
- Withdrawals due to dissatisfaction – Any student who is underway in a course and not satisfied may withdraw from the course and request a refund of the course fees paid. Some restrictions apply:
- The request must be in writing, and identify the specific elements of the course the student deems unsatisfactory.
- The withdrawal must be within the first 1/3 of that course (i.e. before the end of the first day of a three-day course).
- All course materials must remain with the instructor at the time of withdrawal.
- Emergency – If a student must withdraw from class due to a bona-fide emergency, TEKnowLogical will allow the student to reschedule and repeat the class at no additional charge within 90 days. The request to withdraw due to emergency must be presented in writing.
RESCHEDULING
Rescheduling is defined as transferring registration to the same course on a different date, or transferring to another course of equal or lesser value.
Students may reschedule a registration up to 15 business days before the scheduled start date for a course.
If a student reschedules fewer than 15 business days before the class, or reschedules for a second time, the student may be liable for a 25% reschedule fee.
Students have up to three months from the original course start date to register for an alternative course.
ATTENDEE SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions of class attendees are permitted prior to the start of the class. All substitutions must be submitted in writing to support@teknowlogical.com or faxed to 703-935-2382 prior to the start of class.
NO SHOWS
Failure to attend a course without written notice prior to the start date of the course will be considered a “no show” (or zero-day-cancellation) and will result in forfeiture of the full course price. At its own discretion TEKnowLogical may allow a student to attend a later session of the same or lower-priced course.
PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTS
Course registrations for which a promotional discount applies are subject to the following terms and conditions as well as any specific terms and conditions listed in conjunction with the promotional offer.
- Discounts cannot be combined with Cisco Learning Credits.
- Discounts do not apply to hotel or meal portions of Bootcamps.
- All savings offers are non-refundable and cannot be combined with any other pre-existing or promotional discounts.
- Promotional offers are restricted to availability of course seats.
- All promotional purchases are final at the time of registration and cannot be refunded.
- Payment in full must be received prior to attending class for the promotional discount to apply.
Discounts do not apply to partner-delivered classes.
